Any boys and girls ages 4–17 may participate in our youth league. We offer both non-competitive and competitive divisions and encourage all kids to join, have fun, and improve their skills.

Each season is eight weeks long, including eight practices, seven regular season games, and one playoff week. All-star games may be held after certain seasons. There are four seasons per calendar year.

You can sign up online at www.hardwoodpalace.com by clicking the Youth League link on the homepage, or you can register in person at Hardwood Palace. The next season begins July 11th.

  • Pre-K through 2nd Grade (Non-Competitive): $125 per season

  • 1st Grade through High School (Competitive): $145 per season

If your child can consistently dribble the ball without picking it up, they’re ready for competitive. Non-competitive divisions don’t keep score and allow rule flexibility so kids can learn. Coaches are also allowed on the floor during games to assist players.

Uniforms are required for first-time players and can be reused for future seasons. Uniforms cost $45 and include a jersey and shorts.

Each team practices once per week, Monday through Thursday. All games are played on Friday nights.

  • Pre-K through 2nd Grade: 27.5” ball, 8-foot hoop

  • 3rd through 6th Grade: 28.5” ball, 10-foot hoop

  • 7th through High School Boys: 29.5” ball, 10-foot hoop

  • 7th through High School Girls: 28.5” ball, 10-foot hoop

After registration, players participate in a skill evaluation. Teams are then formed based on ability to ensure balanced, competitive divisions.

Each season, teams take photos before a game. Every player receives one free team picture and one individual picture, with the option to purchase more.

Yes! Every team qualifies for playoffs, which take place during the final week of the season.
